As a Project Engineer , you won't just support projects—you'll help drive them, collaborating across teams and working directly with customers to bring complex, cutting-edge solutions to life. What You'll Do As a Project Engineer, you'll be at the center of engineering, execution, and innovation: Engineering & Design Design and specify bioprocess and clean utility systems for new and upgraded facilities Create and review critical engineering documents (P&IDs, GA drawings, BOMs) Perform calculations for equipment sizing and system validation Partner with designers to ensure equipment meets form, fit, and function expectations Project Execution & Collaboration Support Project Managers to deliver projects on time, on budget, and beyond expectations Track project scope, costs, and timelines—ensuring nothing falls through the cracks Act as a technical expert and customer point of contact throughout project lifecycle Jump in to support project leadership when needed Quality, Testing & Delivery Lead or support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) —both domestic & international Develop test plans and collaborate with customers for approvals Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams to bring designs to reality Automation & Innovation Collaborate with Automation and Electrical teams on system functionality and communications Review and approve documentation like FRS and DDS Identify opportunities for continuous improvement (CI) and operational efficiency What Makes This Role Exciting Work on custom-engineered systems that directly impact global health Collaborate with experts across engineering, automation, manufacturing, and quality Gain hands-on exposure to high-tech biopharma equipment and processes Travel to customer sites and see your work in action What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Biological, or similar) 3+ years of engineering experience (5+ preferred in biopharma, piping, or custom equipment) Experience supporting equipment manufacturing, testing, or automation is a strong plus Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment Familiarity with Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma is a bonus Why ABEC?
