Some expected Position Overview Seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to support the development and production of embedded electronic products. This role will troubleshoot and develop hardware across analog, digital, mixed-signal, power electronics, communications, battery systems, and firmware interfaces . Key Responsibilities Design embedded electronic products from concept through production. Develop and troubleshoot analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics . Design and troubleshoot DC-DC converters and battery chargers . Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis. Troubleshoot CAN bus, firmware/hardware interfaces, EMI/EMC, power supplies, and battery systems . Design and review schematics and PCBs using Altium Designer . Work with manufacturing to support production hardware and design for manufacturability. Required Qualifications B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field . 8-12 years of electrical/electronic product development experience . Strong hands-on experience with analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics . Strong proficiency with Altium Designer . Experience with TI MSP430 and/or ARM Cortex-M0/M0+ microcontrollers. Strong experience with CAN bus and embedded communication protocols . Experience with DC-DC converters and battery charger design . Strong hardware bring-up and troubleshooting skills. Ability to understand embedded firmware for hardware/firmware debugging. Experience supporting manufacturing and production hardware. Preferred Qualifications BMS hardware , particularly 12S-18S systems. TI BQ797xx/BQ796xx, Analog Devices LTC681x, or NXP BMS devices. DroneCAN and lithium-ion battery pack development. High-voltage battery systems. EMI/EMC design and troubleshooting. Automotive, aerospace, defense, robotics, UAV, or other high-reliability electronics. DFMEA, schematic/PCB reviews, DFM, DFT, and design verification. Space, satellite, or military/defense electronics experience, including familiarity with MIL-STD-810 and
MIL-STD-461
