Job Description
Electrical Engineer About the Role We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in PLC controls and industrial equipment integration to join a growing engineering team in Clintonville, WI. This hands-on role focuses on designing, building, and testing automated systems used in advanced manufacturing environments. You will play an important role in supporting both new product development and upgrades to existing equipment. This position works closely with engineering, production, and service teams to develop high-quality automated systems from concept through installation. The role includes system design, PLC/HMI programming, troubleshooting, and supporting equipment startup and customer installations. It is a strong fit for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with automation equipment, and contributing to innovative system development. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electronic controls for automated equipment and systems Program PLCs and HMIs for new equipment and system upgrades Debug, test, and support startup of new systems and custom projects Create schematics, documentation, and technical manuals for equipment Ensure equipment designs comply with applicable industry codes and standards Troubleshoot and resolve controls or HMI issues on equipment and systems Support installation, startup, and training during equipment deployment Work with customers to define system requirements and resolve operational issues Manage project timelines and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors Assist with system validation and performance testing Required Qualifications Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience Experience with PLC and HMI programming Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks Hands-on experience with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple teams Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in electrical design or industrial automation Experience with PLC platforms such as Allen Bradley or Siemens Experience working with automated or industrial equipment systems Knowledge of robotics programming, calibration, or integration Experience designing or testing systems to third-party standards such as UL or CE Understanding of power supply systems Experience working with ERP systems such as
