The Position:

Currently we are seeking an intelligent, self-motivated and hardworking individual for PLC and SCADA design and integration. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, and a desire to work with a team. This person will need to be a self-starter, reliable, demonstrate a desire to learn, and be capable of adapting quickly across job functions and responsibilities. Primary duties will be PLC programming in Allen Bradley platforms (RSLogix 500, 5000), SCADA work with WonderWare (AVEVA) and HMI programming with PanelView Plus and C-MORE. Additional troubleshooting support will also be required to meet customer criteria. The candidate will work with customers directly, to identify desired control functionality and then to deliver such programming. This would include designing, planning, managing, installing, performing start-up, commissioning and related documentation of such automation and control systems. The new team member will be expected to execute projects involving the complete software development cycle, including on-site startup and commissioning. This individual will work both independently, and as part of a team of application development engineers for projects in a variety of industries. The ideal candidate must be willing to enthusiastically engage in assignments and take ownership of the work that is performed. This full-time position will work closely with senior personnel to complete design work to specifications. Hours are 8:00AM-4:30PM, Monday - Friday, primarily in our Nunica, MI location. Although there is some travel required from time to time, it is generally performed during the normal workday, with very rare overnight travel. Qualifications/Required Experience:

To be successful in this role, the qualified applicant will have: At least 5 years' experience in electrical engineering or other related field, familiarity with electrical diagnostic equipment, knowledge of relay design standards, excellent root cause analysis skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Previous experience managing projects is desired. Position requires strong technical ability and knowledge of good software engineering practices and standards, or a background with systems controls. 5 years of programming experience with Allen Bradley PLC's and HMI's, Rockwell RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000 and Auto CAD, process controls (PID), as well as PLC Ladder Logic programming is considered a plus. Preference will be given to candidates with additional experience in WonderWare/AVEVA software. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the position. The ideal candidate must possess considerable computer literacy, be able to work independently and take on a leadership role, be self-motivated and highly organized, and able to manage one's own time effectively.
