Summary:
HCGi is seeking a motivated and results-driven IT Audio-Visual Sales Representative to join our team with a preference for specialized expertise in government and education clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in technology sales and a strong understanding of audio-visual offerings from companies including Crestron, Extron, Cisco, HP/Poly, Epson, Samsung, ViewSonic, Axis Communications, etc. You will be responsible for identifying prospects, nurturing leads, closing new business, and helping clients find audio-visual solutions to meet their business goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the IT Audio-Visual Sales Representative include the following: Generate revenue by selling audio-visual equipment and solutions to clients. Prospect, identify, and qualify new business opportunities for audio-visual solutions. Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through outbound calling, networking, email campaigns, and attending industry events. Conduct pre-sales on-site walk throughs to develop tailored audio-visual solutions. Present proposals, host demonstrations, and close deals to meet or exceed sales quotas. Collaborate with manufacturers and our technical teams to scope audio-visual solutions and create accurate proposals including design drawings. Provide commissioning and on-site training after installation. Maintain CRM records with up-to-date notes, activities, and pipeline status. Provide ongoing client relationship management, including upselling and cross-selling additional solutions and post-warranty contracts. Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors. Qualifications of the IT Audio-Visual Sales Representative include the following: 2+ years of experience in audio-visual sales, preferably in government or education environments. Strong understanding of audio-visual products, including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing, and lighting. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, Pipedrive, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.). Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not required). Qualifications of the IT Audio-Visual Sales Representative include the following: 2+ years of experience in audio-visual sales, preferably in government or education environments. Strong understanding of the audio-visual industry, practices, and standards. Technical knowledge or certifications in audio-visual technologies is a plus.
