Job Description This role is a senior engineering position focused on our PingDirectory-based X.500 directory platform that serves as a core system for identity data, supporting authentication, authorization, and profile services at large scale. The engineer will design, build, and operate highly available directory services, including replication, performance tuning, schema and access-control design, and operational automation. The position partners closely with application engineering teams, cybersecurity, privacy/compliance, and infrastructure teams to integrate identity data flows and ensure secure, resilient operations. Mission-critical responsibilities include safeguarding the integrity of identity data, maintaining service reliability, and leading complex troubleshooting and production support for directory-dependent experiences. • Expert experience in x.500 directory experience
• Minimum five years experience working on projects involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (e.g., SDLC).
• Minimum two years in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
• Minimum eight years experience in software development or a related field. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Two years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above)
• Four years experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions.
