Job Description
Overview:
As a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), in our Naperville, IL Office, you'll manage project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and residential clients. From a new quick-service restaurant, industrial capital improvement, to a new school project, you'll take part in managing projects, quality control, client interfacing, budgeting, and mentoring and supervising junior engineers. In managing junior engineers, you will review the design aspects which will include site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities. Interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials, you'll impact the whole project- from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) 10+ years' of civil engineering experience or a relevant combination of experience and education; to include : site layout, grading, stormwater, and utility design Professional Engineering License (P.E.) Communicates clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats Ability to develop and mentor staff Civil design and permitting experience related to layout, grading, stormwater, and erosion and sediment control is required Ability to provide a technical review of Civil Engineering deliverable Proven ability to prepare proposals and manage project execution Interface with clients, network, and develop businessAbout Us:
