The Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes that support Honeywell Aerospace production objectives. This role provides technical leadership, strategic direction, and people management for the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) organization. The position ensures manufacturing readiness for new products, drives continuous improvement, and supports operational excellence across assigned product lines and sites. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, including performance management, talent development, and resource planning. Develop and execute manufacturing strategies that support safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory objectives. Oversee the design, validation, and deployment of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling for new and existing products. Ensure compliance with aerospace, regulatory, and Honeywell internal standards for manufacturing processes and documentation. Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) collaboration with Engineering during new product introduction (NPI). Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective action activities for complex production issues. Support production ramp‑ups through capacity planning, line balancing, and readiness assessments. Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and Honeywell Operating System (HOS) methodologies to improve process capability and reduce waste. Identify and implement cost‑reduction initiatives, including automation, process optimization, and technology upgrades. Partner with cross‑functional teams including ISC, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, and Supply Chain. Provide technical oversight and support for supplier manufacturing processes as required. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of manufacturing readiness, risks, and mitigation plans. Qualifications
US PERSON REQUIREMENT
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace or a similarly regulated industry. Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing technical or engineering teams. Demonstrated experience with new product introduction, process validation, and production ramp‑ups. Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem‑solving methodologies. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a matrixed environment. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Engineering or Business. Experience with electronics manufacturing, complex assemblies, or aerospace hardware. Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience with PFMEA, control plans, capability studies, and statistical analysis. Experience implementing automation or advanced manufacturing technologies.
