Job Description
Job Summary Dillingham Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a leading offshore maritime operator for experienced Chief Engineers. This is a high-responsibility offshore engineering opportunity for qualified maritime professionals who want to advance their careers in the oil and gas and vessel-operations sector. Location, Rotation, and Travel This role follows a 28-days-on, 28-days-off rotation. Candidates may live anywhere in the United States. The company will accommodate travel to and from Galveston, Texas, for each rotation when the vessel is scheduled to depart and return from offshore work. What You Will Do The Chief Engineer leads the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of all vessel engineering equipment. You will oversee engine room operations, direct engineering personnel, manage maintenance and repair work, and ensure the vessel is ready for normal operations, maneuvering, inspections, and emergency situations.
