Skills and Requirements 15+ years of commercial construction experience 5+ years of experience leading project teams, construction operations, or business units Proven success overseeing commercial construction projects valued at $20MExperience managing multiple projects, project executives, project managers, and field leadership teams Strong background in commercial construction operations, project controls, and executive-level decision-making Experience with CM at Risk, Design-Build, and Design-Bid-Build project delivery methods Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, risk mitigation, cost control, and profitability management Experience reviewing and managing complex project schedules and resource planning efforts Contract negotiation and stakeholder management experience Demonstrated ability to develop, mentor, and retain high-performing construction teams Executive-level communication and relationship-building skills Experience collaborating with ownership, executive leadership, clients, and design partners Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Building Construction, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience) Experience leading construction operations for a regional or multi-office contractor Experience supporting business growth, client development, and strategic planning initiatives Strong network within the commercial construction industry Track record of implementing operational improvements and driving organizational performance Experience serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership or ownership groups
