Essential Job Functions:

Plan, scope, and lead capital expenditure (CapEx) projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with operational and business objectives Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, finance, and external vendors/contractors Oversee installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment and systems Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements Support long-term capital planning by identifying equipment lifecycle needs and infrastructure upgrades Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime Perform routine inspections and servicing of machinery, systems, and facility infrastructure Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and continuous improvement Create, update, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and repair activities Maintain accurate logs of maintenance work, equipment history, and system performance using CMMS systems Supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate work with external contractors Support team development through technical training and mentoring Collaborate with operations and production teams to align maintenance priorities Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and industry standards Promote a culture of safety by identifying and mitigating workplace hazards Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and implement corrective/preventive measures Monitor KPIs such as downtime and equipment performance

Critical Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Proven experience in maintenance engineering or similar role in manufacturing Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic systems Experience with CMMS platforms and maintenance planning tools Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Effective time management and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience leading teams or managing vendors/contractors Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or reliability engineering practices Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
