Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for supplier qualification, product acceptance, validation activities, and supplier quality performance within a regulated medical device environment. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 3-6 years of relevant Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or manufacturing quality experience. Medical device industry experience. Electrical and/or mechanical engineering background. Experience with component and product qualification activities. Experience with test method validation. Experience with equipment validation. Experience with process validation. Strong understanding of process capability and manufacturing quality requirements. Experience supporting supplier qualification and supplier quality activities. Experience with nonconforming material reports and corrective/preventive action processes. Preferred Skills Experience developing product acceptance strategies. Experience with incoming inspection requirements. Experience leading supplier change requests. Experience supporting Approved Supplier List activities. Experience with supplier corrective action and preventive action processes. Experience monitoring supplier performance throughout the product lifecycle. Experience with quality requirements in regulated manufacturing environments. Job Responsibilities Lead and support supplier quality activities according to established quality requirements. Perform supplier qualification and assessment activities. Support product qualification activities to verify supplier capability. Evaluate supplier manufacturing processes, materials, and services against quality requirements. Monitor supplier products throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues. Provide technical quality guidance throughout the product lifecycle. Develop product acceptance strategies for incoming inspection. Lead test method validation activities for internal inspection and testing methods. Lead and support supplier change requests. Manage supplier-related nonconforming material reports through disposition and resolution. Lead corrective and preventive action activities with suppliers. Support Approved Supplier List maintenance and qualification activities. Track supplier quality activities and performance metrics. Provide supplier quality status and performance updates to leadership.
Pay:
