Job Description

Industrial Engineer We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to drive manufacturing efficiency, optimize facility operations, and lead process improvement initiatives across production environments. This position will play a key role in improving material flow, increasing throughput, reducing waste, and supporting strategic operational projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing operations, facility layout design, process optimization, and data-driven decision making. Experience within automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement efficient manufacturing workflows, production layouts, and material handling systems.
  • Evaluate facility layouts and equipment placement to improve productivity, safety, and operational performance.
  • Lead cross-functional projects from concept through implementation while managing schedules, budgets, and project deliverables.
  • Conduct time studies, takt time evaluations, line balancing, and workflow analysis to identify process bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze manufacturing and operational data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize modeling, simulation, and analytical tools to assess process changes and predict operational outcomes.
  • Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives focused on waste reduction, process standardization, and throughput improvement.
  • Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor performance and support decision making. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, facility optimization, or material flow analysis.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and facility design.
  • Experience conducting time studies, capacity analysis, line balancing, and workflow optimization.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency with CAD software for facility layouts and material flow planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach. Preferred Qualifications
  • Automotive manufacturing experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with SQL and database analysis.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with simulation modeling and operational performance analysis.
