Cincinnati, OH Job Details Full-time $22.47 - $26.94 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Spreadsheets Research Excel data analysis Full Job Description The Production/Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op will support the engineering and operations teams by assisting with process improvement, production troubleshooting, equipment evaluations, data analysis, and documentation. This hands-on role provides exposure to real manufacturing environments and is designed to support academic and professional development. Responsibilities Assist engineers with evaluating and improving production processes for efficiency, safety, and product quality Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends or process opportunities Support troubleshooting efforts on equipment and process issues Update and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training documentation Participate in continuous improvement activities including Lean, 5S, and waste reduction projects Assist with equipment testing, maintenance coordination, and process trials Collaborate with operators, maintenance technicians, and engineering staff on daily production needs Support safety programs and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements Perform general project tasks such as data entry, research, measurements, and equipment checks Qualifications Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related discipline) Strong interest in hands-on manufacturing and process improvement Ability to analyze data and communicate findings clearly Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic engineering tools Willingness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate in a team environment Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills Prior internship, lab, or manufacturing experience Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, CAD, or process control systems Mechanical aptitude or hands-on troubleshooting experience Work Environment On-site in a manufacturing facility Requires wearing PPE and spending time on the production floor May require occasional lifting, walking, or standing during projects
