Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Looking for a Production Engineer to work in and help improve/develop the LPE (Liquid Phase Epitaxy) process in our Easton, PA facility
Shift:
Mon-Fri (Day shift, timing TBD) Must be prepared to train for about 6 to 8 months at our Hillsborough, NJ facility at the start of employment
KEY FUNCTIONS OF JOB
Help with all production tasks associated with the LPE process Perform crystal growth analysis Dumping/make new production melts Diagnose and troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical issues with LPE equipment Assist with product improvement/development Prepare and present technical reports
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Minimum:
Bachelor's in
Engineering Preferred:
Bachelor's or Master's in
Mechanical or Material Science Engineering Experience:
Experience with CAD, Excel, Word, Access Experience with both qualitative and quantitative data Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities Experience handling chemicals and acids Experience with precision measurement methods and systems Experience working with fixtures, hand tools, and equipment controllers Safety Requirements All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
