Mechanical Engineer & Lab/Coating Technician A growing medical device manufacturing company in Reno, NV is expanding its team and seeking qualified professionals for two full-time opportunities.

We are currently hiring for:

Mechanical Engineer Salary:

$90,000

•$110,000 per year | Direct Hire We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical components, housings, and assemblies for a medical device platform. This position will support products throughout the full engineering lifecycle, including concept development, prototyping, design transfer, production, and sustaining engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Design mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD Create detailed engineering drawings utilizing GD&T Perform tolerance stack-ups, material selection, and DFM/DFA analysis Develop prototypes and support mechanical testing and verification Support design controls, DFMEA, design reviews, and DHF documentation Work with injection molding, machining, and other manufacturing processes Support root-cause investigations, design changes, and CAPA activities Create and maintain BOMs, specifications, work instructions, and engineering documentation Support design transfer and transition into production Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Electrical/Electro-Mechanical teams

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline 4-5 years of mechanical design experience Strong proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks Strong knowledge and practical application of GD&T Experience with tolerance analysis, materials, and manufacturing processes Hands-on prototyping and testing experience Experience with plastics, injection molding, and precision assemblies is a plus Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience preferred Familiarity with design controls and verification/validation is a plus ⸻ 2. Lab Technician Pay:

$25

•$28 per hour | Full-Time We are seeking a detail-oriented technician to support the inspection, cleaning, coding, coating, and final quality control of glass components used in medical device manufacturing. This position works within an

ISO 13485

2016 Quality Management System and is ideal for someone who is highly precise, comfortable working with small components, and able to consistently follow detailed procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect glass components for quality and specification compliance Clean and prepare glass components according to established procedures Perform coating and glass coding processes Complete final quality control inspections Follow established work instructions, procedures, and protocols Support Engineering with process verification, validation, and quality initiatives Operate equipment and tooling following required training Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Identify opportunities for process improvement Follow applicable ISO, quality, safety, and company procedures

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; college coursework is a plus Approximately 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, quality, laboratory, or a related environment Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with small components Ability to consistently follow detailed procedures and protocols Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Reliable, punctual, organized, and quality-focused ISO 13485 or other regulated manufacturing experience is a plus Medical technology, phlebotomy, ISO, quality, or related training/certifications are a plus Ability to stand for approximately 8 hours per day and perform occasional lifting of approximately 40 lbs. or more Why Join?
