## Standard Job Description You will be the Senior Manufacturing / Process Engineer for the Missile Assembly team at Pike County Operations (PCO) in Troy, Alabama. What You Will Be Doing As the Senior Manufacturing / Process Engineer (Missile Assembly) you will be responsible for driving technical excellence on the production shop floor, shaping manufacturing processes, and delivering digital tools that boost productivity. • Analyzing engineering data to develop new manufacturing processes and detailed work instructions.
• Integrating new assets and technologies into the factory.

• This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. ## Basic Qualifications
• Degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline at the Bachelor's level and 5+ years production engineering experience or 3+ years production engineering experience and related Master's degree.
• Knowledgeable of General Manufacturing Processes with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience Interpreting engineering requirements from product data models, drawings, parts lists and specifications.
• Experience conducting detailed failure analysis to determine root cause and implement the corrective / preventative actions.
• Able to demonstrate a high level of mechanical hands-on abilities to perform or assist in missile assembly and test along with repairing nonoperating tools and equipment.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and retain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.
• Must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background investigation to obtain "employee possessor" approval (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations.

## Desired Skills Working knowledge / experience of manufacturing mechanical assembly processes, electronic testing methods, factory automation equipment, industrial safety processes, technical writing, and teaming. Ability to (1) read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications / schematics; (2) understand basic Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) references; (3) create and maintain Computer Aided Design (CAD) models and drawings. Strong hands-on assembly / disassembly / troubleshooting skills of mechanical, electrical, industrial and/or home equipment and products. Familiarity with manufacturing software DELMIA Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Systems Applications & Products (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools in a manufacturing environment.
