Manufacturing Engineer Hose McCann Communications Deerfield Beach, FL Job Details Full-time From $75,000 a year 6 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Tooling CAD Engineering process optimization CAM software Collaboration with product development teams Collaboration with manufacturing teams Operational excellence initiatives Quality improvement programs in engineering Implementing lean manufacturing processes Full Job Description Job Summary Manufacturing Engineer designs, optimizes, and maintains manufacturing processes, ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, and at high-quality using methods such as lean manufacturing, CAD/CAM tools, and process validation. Based on our government contract, US Citizenship is required.
Key duties:
Design and document manufacturing processes including cycle times, tooling and inspection points. Develop and maintain FMEAs to identify and mitigate production risks. Lead design for manufacturability (DFM) reviews with product engineering teams Design and optimize production processess using methods such as machining, molding, stamping and additive manufacturing. Improve existing processes through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and quality standards Analyze workflows, space requirements and equipment placement to maximize efficiancy Coordinate maintenance and repair services to keep equipment operational.
Required skills:
