Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer responsible for improving assembly and weld processes, establishing production controls, resolving build issues, and supporting manufacturing systems and documentation. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience. Experience with manufacturing assembly processes. Experience with welding processes. Experience working in a production environment. Ability to read engineering prints. Experience interpreting CMM reports and measurement data. Experience with shop floor documentation, including Sequence of Events (SOE), PFMEA, and Operator Method Sheets (OMS). Experience with engineering tools, systems, and databases. Experience using SAP or similar manufacturing systems. Ability to work off shifts and weekends as required. Preferred Skills Experience with MPPlanner for SOE and OMS development. Experience with closed-loop corrective action processes. Experience with JDAAT coding. Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including SAP or Ignition. Experience working in a union manufacturing environment. Experience with torque tooling. Experience with AutoCAD. Experience with Creo View. Experience developing control plans and production process controls. Job Responsibilities Identify and implement continuous improvement projects impacting safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and ergonomics. Establish process controls for existing and revised manufacturing operations. Develop tooling and assembly methods for production processes. Create and maintain Operator Method Sheets, control plans, and related shop floor documentation. Support assembly and weld process development and improvement. Drive closed-loop corrective action for assembly and weld build issues. Analyze CMM reports, measurement data, and production results to identify process issues. Use SAP, MPPlanner, JDAAT, and related manufacturing systems to perform engineering activities. Develop and maintain Sequence of Events, PFMEAs, and Operator Method Sheets. Support MES configuration and manufacturing system activities. Implement tooling, process, and documentation revisions for current operations. Maintain engineering and production documentation associated with manufacturing process changes.
Pay:
