This role is focused on designing tooling, fixtures, and work-holding solutions that enable the assembly and manufacturing of low-volume, high-complexity products. The ideal candidate can evaluate a part or assembly and determine the most effective method for holding, supporting, and building the component throughout the manufacturing process. A background in tooling, fixture design, machine shop operations, or toolmaking is highly preferred. Experience using Creo (preferred) or similar CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or NX. Strong understanding of tooling, fixturing, and work-holding principles. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD models. Experience supporting complex assemblies or precision manufacturing environments. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to obtain a security clearance Background working in a machine shop environment. Experience as a Tool Maker, Tool Designer, or Manufacturing Technician. Experience supporting prototype, first-build, or low-volume/high-mix manufacturing.
