Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create and modify Solidworks drawings of mechanical drive components, including but not limited to, gears, sprockets, couplings, universal joints, timing pulleys and belts.
  • Create and manage 3D models and drawings using ISO standards.
  • G D & T tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • Assist with managing of environmental compliance of RoHS, REACH and conflict minerals.
  • Provide measurement support and verification with optical comparator, material analyzer and other engineering and inspection equipment.
  • Work with manufacturing, production control, shipping, and other departments within the concurrent engineering framework to allow timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Provide Engineering disposition on non-conforming product from internal and external sources.
  • Create Manufacturing work instructions, Manufacturing bills of material, and build lists.
  • Assist in resolving complex manufacturing process issues in machining, metal finishing, heat treating, mechanical assembly, and testing.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related area.
  • Solidworks experience, CAD experience.
  • Proper Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Environment, Processes, and methods.
  • Knowledge of injection molding a plus.
  • Microsoft Suite, Excel.
  • A minimum of 2 year of engineering experience.
