Job Description Develop and implement manufacturing and production processes Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions and routings Perform line balancing and process optimization using Lean Manufacturing principles Support quality systems, EH&S standards, and ergonomic requirements Utilize ERP systems (such as SAP) for Bills of Material, routings, and configuration follow-up Apply CAD and PLM tools (CATIA, DELMIA) to support manufacturing processes Support process planning activities including ME, QRQC, and continuous improvement initiatives Provide general knowledge and oversight of welding processes and welding symbol interpretation Support lifting operations by proposing appropriate lifting methods and assisting with lifting plan preparation Analyze and resolve production issues using problem-solving tools (PDCA, 5-Why, Pareto, SPC) Qualifications Technical education required Manufacturing Engineering background with 5-10 years of experience preferred Experience in manufacturing or process engineering environments Strong knowledge of quality standards, EH&S, and ergonomics Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) Proficiency with CAD and PLM tools English proficiency (read, written, spoken) Results-oriented with strong follow-through Team player who supports trust and collaboration Decisive with the ability to analyze information and make informed decisions Self-motivated and proactive Highly organized with strong attention to detail Preferred Experience Railway industry experience strongly preferred Automotive or Aerospace manufacturing experience acceptable Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience Hands-on shop floor manufacturing support experienceSimilar remote jobs
