- Develop and provide programs for CNC machinery, including turrets, lasers, press brakes, machining centers, and robotic welders.
- Develop efficient, well-documented manufacturing processes for customer parts, including sheet metal, machined components, and assemblies.
- Support and collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality to resolve production challenges and improve processes.
- Develop and implement cost-reduction activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the company's safety and quality programs.
- Develop advanced manufacturing plans for new projects and products.
- Review and identify customer requirements and ensure they are effectively incorporated into manufacturing processes.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between customer requirements, drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
- Help streamline the transition of new products from project development into efficient, repeatable production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improved quality, efficiency, and manufacturability. Qualifications
- A.S. or B.S. degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with engineering and manufacturing software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, Stryker, or similar platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining strong time management and organization.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. Additional Qualifications (Preferred, Not Required)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or metalworking environment.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, or mechanical assemblies.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
55,000- 65,000/year
- 120 Hours Paid Time Off Year 1
