The Manufacturing Engineering Co-op will support engineering projects within a fast-paced medical-device manufacturing environment. This role provides hands-on exposure to the development and improvement of equipment, tooling, fixtures, manufacturing processes, and technical documentation that support the production of precision components and assemblies. Responsibilities:

Assist engineers with the design, modification, and documentation of tooling, fixtures, workstations, and manufacturing-support equipment. Support trials, data collection, troubleshooting, and process-improvement activities on the manufacturing floor. Help create and revise drawings, work instructions, specifications, and engineering documentation. Participate in equipment and process evaluations, including identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, throughput, and ergonomics. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, NPI, and Lightspeed teams to resolve technical challenges. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical, or a related Engineering discipline. Familiarity with CAD and basic engineering drawing practices. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to work directly with production teams. Clear communication skills and the ability to organize multiple priorities.

Compensation:

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $23.00 to $28.00. For temp, temp-to-hire, and regular full-time positions, our company policy is that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
