Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and oversee advanced welding processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity. Provide technical leadership and expertise in advanced manufacturing processes Lead cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing operations and enhance productivity Develop and implement weld processes to optimize production and drive continuous improvement. Identify and evaluate cutting-edge technologies for adoption in manufacturing processes Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in advanced manufacturing Provide guidance and mentorship to team members Qualifications Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Lead cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing operations and enhance productivity. Develop and implement weld processes to optimize production and drive continuous improvement. Identify and evaluate cutting-edge technologies for adoption in manufacturing processes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in advanced manufacturing. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
YOU MUST HAVE
Extensive experience (6+ years) in welding of aerospace components. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics. Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, welding process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles. Strong knowledge of welding technologies such as TIG Welding, Electron beam welding, welding automation, etc. Knowledge of industry specifications such as AWS D17.1 and AMS2750. Familiar with GD&T concepts and symbols. Proficient in Data analytics tools such as Excel. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Experience managing multiple projects in a dynamic global environment. Proven track record of continuous improvement and project execution.
WE VALUE
Advanced Engineering degrees like ME (Mechanical Engineering), EE (Electrical Engineering), IE (Industrial Engineer) or Manufacturing Engineer. Experience in driving process improvements and achieving results. Ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions. Experience programming robotic welders. Experience, using NX or other software. Experience welding aluminum, titanium and Inconel aerospace parts. Experience, creating work holding fixtures and optimizing setups for welding aerospace components. The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $208,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
