Project Engineer 1st Shift (Mon-Thurs 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

80,000k-85,000k
Location:
Rock Hill, SC We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join a growing manufacturing team in Rock Hill, SC. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys being in the shop as much as working at a desk. Since 1938, American Roller Company has been the leader in industrial rollers and coatings. We have multiple facilities across the United States, and we're looking for a skilled individuals to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and interpret CAD drawings and technical prints Support estimating activities for jobs and projects Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure project accuracy and feasibility Perform manual machining tasks as needed to support projects and prototypes Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation, reporting, and communication Collaborate with team members to improve processes and drive project efficiency Be actively involved on the shop floor, this is a hands-on engineering role , not strictly desk-based
Qualifications:
Experience with CAD software and technical drawings Background in manufacturing, machining, or similar hands-on environment Estimating or cost analysis experience is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Willingness and desire to be hands-on in a production environment Strong communication and teamwork skills

$80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
