Job Description

Design Engineer, now hiring Nashville Tn location
Job Scope:
Coordination of all activities to bring project from signed contract to finished product, which includes the coordination of engineering, shop, field, shipping, and erection activities. Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office applications will greatly assist in performing this job properly.
Essential Duties:
Mechanical / Structural Design of Conveyor Systems General Arrangement (Layout) Drawings for Multiple Integrated Systems Check Shop Drawings for Accuracy, Consistency of Design and Manufacturability Structural Design of Steel Towers that Support Equipment Detailing of Parts as
Needed Project Management of Small Scale Projects Ensure Safety Through Conscientious Design Secondary Duties:
Maintain a clean work space Collaborate with other associates across different departments
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency with CAD Software Demonstrated Knowledge of Geometry and Trigonometry Interpersonal Communication

Detail Critical Thinking Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in
Manufacturing, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Mining Engineering Experience Requirements:
Relevant experience will be considered
Physical Requirements:
Individual must be prepared for: Reaching, Bending, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting up to 40 pounds
  • 5% of shift Sitting

  • 10% of shift Walking

Work Environment:
Work will primarily occur in the office environment. Personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, ear plugs/muffs, and steel toe boots, are required in the fabrication shop.
