Manufacturing Technician

An aerospace client is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations.

Mesa, AZ 85215 (Onsite)

Position:

Manufacturing Technician Pay Rate:

$29.35/hr. on W2 (DOE)

Duration:

6 months or longer

Schedule:

4/10 (Mon-Thurs) 5 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. schedule, work overtime and some weekends if needed

RESPONSIBILITIES

To support our client's operations department. Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• US Citizenship is required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 years of experience working on manufacturing assemblies.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry 40 lbs.
• "As a responsible party to ATF, obtain coverage under Safe Explosive Act as employee possessor/responsible person upon starting."
• Able to start work a 4/10 (Mon-Thurs) 5 A.

M. - 3:30 P.M. schedule, work overtime and some weekends if needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical background
• Experience reading prints
