Full Job Description Position Summary:
This position reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for the proper operations of our canning line(s) Canning product for our valued customers in a timely manner while meeting safety and quality food codes and procedures
Essential Job Functions:
Regular worksite attendance. Can products according to standard operating procedures Perform tasks with focus towards organization, sanitation, and safety Ensure product is of highest standards before and after packaging Run routine inspections on equipment to ensure quality Classification of Instructional Programs for all equipment according to standard operating procedures Perform scheduled maintenance of the canning line Effectively work with and coordinate with packaging team Accurately keep and maintain records pertaining to task Maintain clean work environment Additional duties as required
Minimum Position Qualifications:
This position requires 2 years of experience in similar duties Detail orientated person required for this position Ability to complete tasks in timely manner Capable of lifting 40 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching Must always wear personal protective equipment Participates actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions
