Production Status Hourly, Non Exempt Employment type Regular, Full time Reports to Production Supervisor Supervisory responsibilities None Location Rockville, MD Role summary Run and support the production line to produce safe, consistent product and hit daily output goals. This role operates equipment, keeps product moving, and maintains an organized work area. Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment such as mixers, conveyors, skillets, fillers, and packaging equipment.
• Stage and verify correct ingredients and packaging for the run; communicate shortages or issues quickly.
• Perform assigned quality checks such as weights, appearance, and packaging integrity; report defects or deviations immediately.
• Record production data such as quantities produced, downtime reasons, and check results as assigned.
• Support changeovers, line start up, and end of run activities, including cleanup and reset for the next product.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow cleaning schedules for your area and equipment.
• Use PPE correctly and follow safe work practices; report hazards and near misses promptly.
• Support training of new team members when requested.
• Assist with basic equipment care such as cleaning and simple inspections; report maintenance needs. What success looks like
• Steady output and reliable execution of daily plan.
• Accurate line data and timely communication of downtime or issues.
• Consistent quality checks with quick escalation when something is off.
• Clean, organized area that is always ready for the next run. Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with repetitive tasks and following a structured daily production plan.
• Ability to communicate and work well in a team.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb. Working conditions
• Work in temperature variations, humidity, noise, and food processing aromas.
• Standing for extended periods, lifting, and repetitive motions.
• May include different shifts and overtime during peak production periods.
• Requires adnce to hygiene practices and PPE use.
