$19/hr
•$20.00/hr on W2 (Negotiable, based on experience)
Position Summary:
Production Technicianare responsible for manufacturing, assembly and/or packaging of medical device products. Manufacturing Technicians will be trained and follow standard operating procedures, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations which could apply to the specific job. Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will be followed during the manufacturing of our medical devices and associated device documentation. Equipment used by the Manufacturing Technician will depend on the specific job.
Job Duties:
Wash, wrap, assemble, glue, package, seal, label, and prepare components/devices for sterilization. Maintain production areas according to GMP standards. Operate production equipment such as sealers, autoclaves, and stir plates. Receive and distribute production supplies. Follow safety protocols, SOPs, cGMP, and quality standards. Complete required training and maintain reliable attendance. Perform other assigned duties.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required for this entry-level role. Must be at least 18 years old. Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members. Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including English words and drawings. Must be able to perform basic mathematics. $19.00
