at our location in Gastonia, North Carolina We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Shop Technician to join our dynamic team at Mann+Hummel. As an Engineering Shop Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering and manufacturing processes by providing technical assistance, operating machinery, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our engineering shop.
Main Tasks We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Shop Technician to join our dynamic team at Mann+Hummel. As an Engineering Shop Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering and manufacturing processes by providing technical assistance, operating machinery, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our engineering shop. Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment in the engineering shop Follow technical specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate production Assist engineers in the development of prototypes and experimental projects Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and refine prototypes Perform routine maintenance on shop tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality Report any malfunctioning equipment and coordinate repairs as needed Manage and organize materials and components in the shop Track inventory levels and notify appropriate personnel when supplies need replenishment Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly Keep detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and shop activities Document any changes made to prototypes or machinery Report prototype orders Your Profile
