10:54pm-7:00am QPS Employment Group is hiring an SMT Technician for a company in Germantown, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. SMT Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Set up, operate, and monitor SMT equipment (pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, screen printers) Load components, feeders, and materials according to production schedules Inspect PCBs for defects such as misalignment, solder issues, or missing components Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to machines as trained Document production data, defects, and downtime accurately Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures at all times Assist with changeovers and preventive maintenance activities Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

SMT Technician Requirements:

Previous SMT, electronics manufacturing, or machine operation experience preferred Ability to read work instructions, schematics, and assembly documentation Familiarity with ESD requirements and electronic components Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Basic computer skills for machine interfaces and documentation Strong attendance and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand or sit for extended periods Ability to lift up to15-30 pounds as needed Manual dexterity for handling small components Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
