Line Attendant Responsibilities:
- Cross-training and working across all production lines
- Removing raw materials from pallets, totes, bags, or cartons; feeding production lines per product specifications
- Performing equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, and minor assembly
- Inspecting cheese and materials for quality or foreign matter; cleaning or segregating product as needed
- Conducting in-process quality checks and completing required documentation
- Packaging, boxing, scanning, and palletizing finished products; removing completed pallets from production areas
- Operating processing, packaging, lot dating, palletizing, and material-handling equipment
- Maintaining sanitation, housekeeping, and safety standards in all work areas
- Tracking material movement using touch screens and data collection devices
- Reporting food safety or quality concerns Requirements for
Line Attendant:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to understand, read, and write in English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to walk/stand for 8-12 hours
- Regularly lifting 40-50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in warm/cool environments (55
- 80 degrees)
