Essential Job Functions:
Support engineering team and customer projects, with a specific focus on structural design, systems design, materials selection, and fabrication approaches. Create and develop designs, drawings, and related documentation for submittal to clients. Create and develop shop fabrication drawings and bill of materials for both prototype and production builds. 3-D modeling experience, preferred. Refine first-article or other designs through the "red line" process to capture improvements. Facilitate solutions to relevant design-related production issues with project management and manufacturing personnel.Essential Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements. Commitment to safety rules. Employee must be a "U.S. Person" as defined Code of Federal Regulations, Title 22, Section 120.15.Physical Requirements:
Effectively and safely perform work in support of company and client objectives in both and office (primary) and manufacturing plant (secondary) environment. This position will require shop floor inspection and oversight of design integration and production efforts for the purposes of validation, verification, troubleshooting and testing. This could include grasping, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing, and visual acuity.About Copper River & The Native Village of Eyak:
