Job Description
Develops weldment and sheet metal designs and engineering drawings for heavy equipment using Creo CAD software. Job Requirements Proficiency with Creo CAD modeling software. Experience designing weldments. Experience designing sheet metal components and assemblies. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience creating and modifying detailed mechanical drawings. Associate degree in Engineering, Drafting, Mechanical Design, or a related technical field may be considered. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience applying GD&T requirements to engineering drawings. Heavy equipment design experience. Experience developing fabrication drawings for welded and sheet metal assemblies. Job Responsibilities Create and modify weldment and sheet metal designs for heavy equipment. Develop 3D CAD models using Creo. Produce detailed engineering and fabrication drawings. Define dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements for components and assemblies. Interpret existing engineering drawings and design specifications. Apply GD&T requirements to drawings where applicable. Update designs and drawings based on engineering changes. Support development of production-ready documentation for welded and sheet metal components.
