Job Description

We are a lean, fast-paced manufacturer of small appliances. We design, prototype, and manufacture high-quality consumer products with a global supply chain. We are looking for a multi-talented Mechanical Engineer who genuinely thrives on the challenge of designing - and relentlessly redesigning - components to build the highest quality machines possible. The ideal candidate will be capable of wearing multiple hats, including: Design Engineer Production Manager Global Supply Chain Manager Procurement Engineer Jigs and Fixtures Designer General Business Operator/Manager Trade Compliance Officer The Role This is not a "desk-only" CAD job. You will be a hybrid engineer and operator . You will lead our physical product design while simultaneously managing our international supplier network, production lines, and trade compliance. Key Responsibilities Product Design & CAD:
Own the mechanical design of our small appliances using SolidWorks . Develop 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes.
Production Line Management:
Design and optimize assembly line workflows, create standard operating procedures (SOPs), and troubleshoot manufacturing bugs.
Global Supply Chain Management:
Interface directly with international suppliers to source materials and coordinate production schedules.
Trade Compliance:
Oversee import/export logistics, manage tariff classifications (HTS codes), and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
Qualifications The Technical Core:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience) with expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks .
Manufacturing Experience:
Hands-on knowledge of injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and small appliance assembly processes.
Global Logistics Savvy:
Proven experience working with international suppliers (specifically in Southeast Asia) and managing freight/logistics.
Compliance Literacy:
Working knowledge of import regulations, trade compliance, and tariff structures. The "Maker"
Mindset:
A proactive problem-solver who is equally comfortable tweaking a CAD file or troubleshooting a physical machine on the shop floor. What We Offer Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
