Job Description Insight Global is searching for an Engineer I for a medical device client located in Arbor Lakes, Maple Grove, MN. This Engineer I will support the client's interventional cardiology systems team on new product development efforts tied to next-generation imaging catheter programs, as well as some sustaining to support a quality initiative. This role will function within a design quality and systems test environment, directly supporting medical device product development from concept through commercialization. Day to day, this person will work closely with cross-functional partners across R D, Design Assurance, Project Management, Regulatory, and test development teams. Responsibilities will include developing test methods and test equipment, supporting test method validation, planning and executing design verification testing, analyzing test data, writing technical documentation such as protocols and reports, and supporting prototype and commercial product testing in a lab environment to confirm products meet design standards. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can learn quickly, apply existing technical design skills, work independently, communicate clearly, and collaborate across a team that includes engineers and technicians.
