Supports medical device development from concept through commercialization through test method development, design verification, data analysis, and product performance validation. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 1-2 years of engineering, laboratory, internship, co-op, or research experience. Hands-on product testing experience. Experience supporting product development activities. Experience developing or executing laboratory test methods. Ability to analyze engineering test data. Knowledge of Design Controls and Risk Analysis. Experience with design verification testing. Experience with Measurement System Analysis (MSA). Experience in medical device development. Proficiency with SolidWorks. Proficiency with Minitab. Experience with LabVIEW, MATLAB, or Python. Experience with data acquisition systems. Experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, and laboratory instrumentation. Experience testing products in simulated clinical environments. Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology as applied to medical device use. Job Responsibilities Develop and validate test methods, fixtures, and test equipment. Plan and execute design verification testing. Support prototype and commercial product testing. Analyze test data and evaluate product performance. Prepare technical reports, protocols, procedures, and test documentation. Generate objective evidence supporting product verification and validation. Troubleshoot technical and test-related issues using structured problem-solving methods. Support laboratory testing activities throughout the product development lifecycle. Coordinate testing activities with R D, Design Assurance, Regulatory, Quality, and Project Management functions. Maintain compliance with applicable quality system requirements and Design Controls. Support medical device development activities from concept through commercialization.
Pay:
