Job Description
Supports medical device product development through hands-on testing, design verification, validation, and test laboratory activities. Job Requirements Technical or Associate degree preferred. 0-2 years of experience in testing, quality, product development, medical devices, or another regulated industry. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to execute tests according to documented procedures. Experience documenting test results and maintaining test records. Ability to install and support hardware and software used for testing. Preferred Skills Experience operating test equipment. Experience in a medical device environment. Experience supporting design verification and validation activities. Experience with test method development. Experience working in a regulated product development or quality environment. Job Responsibilities Perform product testing according to approved procedures and protocols. Support design verification and validation activities for medical device products. Document test results and maintain required testing records. Assist engineering with development and refinement of test methods. Support product verification and validation testing. Set up and maintain test equipment and laboratory work areas. Manage test lab inventory, equipment organization, and tracking activities. Install and support hardware and software required for testing. Identify and document product or quality issues discovered during testing. Support investigation and resolution of testing and quality issues. Coordinate testing activities with engineering, quality, and product development functions. Support compliance with applicable product safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
