JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and implement new process methods and systems for Rotational Molding, Vacuum Forming, CNC, and Trim & Assembly Maintain and log necessary paperwork, provide project status reports (by collecting, analyzing, and recommending actions) Develop fixtures for new projects and troubleshoot and coordinate repairs on broken fixtures Coordinate testing as required per R&D or requested by customer Create and implement CPF, set-up sheets, BOM's, asset numbers, and ASP's Provide technical advice, counsel, and training to quality dept personnel and dept supervisors Initiate set-ups and changes, completing First Off Troubleshoot and correct any process discrepancies/ problem solving using root cause analysis and suggest recommended actions Assist all departments in identifying production issues and solutions
REQUIRED SKILLS
Moderately technical in rotational molding Ability to read and understand blueprints, product drawings, machine specifications, etc. Ability to understand and create Production Planners, work instructions, bills of material (BOMs), product drawings, etc. Ability to use standard maintenance equipment (welders, grinders, saws, stamps, torches, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, files, scrapers, drills, routers, calipers, tape measure, micrometers, gages, forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, and lifts) Ability to perform and meet deadlines Ability to exercise problem-solving skills Degree in plastics engineering
BONUS SKILLS
Experience in Rotational Molding, Vacuum Forming Expertise with design software such as Solid Works or Fusion 360 CNC programming 3D printing Capable of performing
FMEA SALARY COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE
