full-time We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Product Engineer - Refractory Components or Metal Castings search in the Cleveland, OH area.

Responsibilities:

Support die construction: Conduct shrink factor analysis and develop gages and support tooling essential for the production and inspection of ceramic cores, wax patterns, and castings.

Analyze and enhance process yields:

Utilize various data analysis techniques, including statistical methods, mathematical modeling, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Six Sigma, to identify and mitigate process variables.

Collaborate with tooling vendors:

Establish effective communication and partnerships with vendors to ensure optimal tooling solutions.

Ensure dimensional quality:

Monitor and control the quality of castings to meet or exceed customer specifications and expectations.

Develop internal job instructions:

Create clear and comprehensive job instructions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Explore and implement new technologies:

Identify, evaluate, and integrate innovative process technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities and product quality

Key Requirements :

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university Demonstrated experience in a mechanical or product engineering role Proficient in metal casting, forging, or related manufacturing processes
