Job Description

A CAD Operator / Junior Mechanical Engineer responsible for taking piping red-line markups and turning them into accurate, production-ready black-line drawings. Opportunity to learn 3D piping design work.
Required:
An associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Drafting & Design, or a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, familiarity with piping design tools is a plus. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. Good communication skills for working with cross-functional teams. Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Interpret red-line markups from engineers and field teams to update piping drawings with precision. Use CAD software (AutoCAD) to revise and maintain 2D and 3D piping layouts. Ensure all updates meet industry standards, project specifications, and internal quality guidelines. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field staff to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies. Maintain organized drawing files and revision histories for easy reference and compliance audits. Support the mechanical engineering team with basic design tasks, measurements, and documentation.
Pay:
