Electrical Drafter Responsibilities & Duties Create detailed electrical drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software Review and interpret electrical designs, specifications, and requirements from engineers and architects Ensure all electrical plans adhere to local, state, and national codes and regulations Collaborate with project teams to understand the scope and requirements of each project. Update and revise existing electrical drawings as needed Conduct site visits to gather data and verify measurements Assist in developing and maintaining electrical drafting standards and best practices Coordinate with other drafters, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely completion of the project. Electrical Drafter Qualifications & Skills Experience with advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or similar Familiarity with electrical codes and standards like the National Electrical Code (NEC) Previous work experience in electrical drafting or a related field Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members Certificate or associate degree in electrical drafting, electrical engineering, or a related field Proficiency in using CAD software for creating detailed electrical drawings Basic understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and electrical codes Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent

Pay:

$29.00 - $35.00 per hour
