Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical / CAD Drafter to support our manufacturing and engineering operations. This position will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and revising detailed technical drawings used for CNC machining and manufacturing. The ideal candidate has experience working in a precision manufacturing or machine shop environment and is comfortable interpreting customer drawings, engineering requirements, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T. Responsibilities Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for manufacturing. Prepare shop drawings and manufacturing drawings from customer prints, models, sketches, and engineering information. Review customer drawings and specifications to ensure requirements are accurately incorporated into internal drawings. Create clear dimensions, tolerances, notes, callouts, and manufacturing details. Apply and interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) requirements. Create and maintain drawing revisions and ensure the correct revision is being used throughout production. Work closely with CNC programmers, machinists, engineering, quality, and production personnel to clarify drawing requirements. Assist in resolving drawing discrepancies or manufacturing questions. Update drawings based on engineering changes, customer revisions, or production feedback. Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and suitable for manufacturing and inspection. Maintain organized drawing files and documentation. Support engineering and production with additional drafting-related projects as needed. Qualifications Previous experience as a Mechanical Drafter, CAD Drafter, Engineering Drafter, or similar role . Experience creating drawings for CNC machining, precision manufacturing, or aerospace manufacturing preferred. Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar software . Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T. Ability to read and interpret complex customer blueprints and engineering drawings. Understanding of machining and manufacturing processes is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple drawings, revisions, and priorities. Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with engineering, programming, quality, and production teams. Preferred Experience Experience in an aerospace or defense manufacturing environment . Experience with CNC-machined components. Knowledge of

ASME Y14.5 / GD&T

standards. Experience working with customer-supplied CAD models and drawings. Familiarity with first article inspection (FAI) requirements and inspection documentation.
