Job Description

QC Conveyors, a Duravant Company, designs and manufactures innovative conveyor systems used in automated manufacturing environments across North America. Our solutions help manufacturers improve production efficiency, reduce downtime, and increase throughput. Known for fast lead times, configurable conveyor platforms, and reliable performance, QC Conveyors supports OEM machine builders, automation integrators, material handling distributors, and manufacturers across a wide range of industries. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op who will be responsible for support of all phases of conveyor design in both 3D design space and a production environment. Projects will initiate with technical assistance to sales, design to specification, manufacturing details, bill of materials, vendor communication, assembly support, issue resolution, and change management.
Skills needed:
3D modeling (Solidworks preferred), good written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Essential Responsibilities:
3D Assembly modeling of new and existing products Part modeling and manufacturing detail drawings Exploded view and Bill of Material creation Bill of Material entry and revision Revision of Manufacturing Detail Drawings Revision of Assembly Drawings Assembling test conveyors for prototyping, application validation, and data collection Tolerancing, geometric dimensioning, and performing tolerance stack-ups of assemblies Following procedures and work instructions OEM spec sheet creation and revision Other duties as assigned Qualifications In pursuit of a
BSME/BSMET
degree from an accredited university or college Ability to work in both office and production environments
