This is an in-office role with the potential to move to a hybrid schedule once you are proficient in the position. Responsibilities:
Create 2D drawings & 3D models for new equipment and product design changes Create/maintain bills of materials for the manufacturing of equipment (SolidWorks, PDM, and ERP) Maintain engineering documents using Product Data Management systems Maintain and grow our existing 3D model standard components library Check drawings to company and industry standards Assist technical writer with equipment manuals
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent 5+ years of CAD experience Minimum 2 years' experience in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D software Minimum 2 years' experience in Autodesk programs, mainly AutoCad High competency level in reading machine part drawings Self-managed, detail oriented, team-player with good written and oral communication skills Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong mechanical aptitude Fluent in written/spoken
English Desired Qualifications:
College or vocational/technical degree Autodesk programs as Inventor, FDU, ect. Experience with operating within a PDM system Experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with sheet metal design and fabrication Basic understanding of GD&T Experience working in seafood or another food-related industry (poultry, vegetables, etc.)
