2+ month contract with high possibilities of extension
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Mechatronics Engineer to join our team on a temporary basis. The Mechatronics Engineer 1 will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting integrated electromechanical systems. This role requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering principles. The position will involve travel between our Boston and Hopkinton sites.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering field Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechatronics Engineer Proficiency in CAD software, PLC programming, and control system design Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and test mechatronic systems and components Develop control systems and algorithms for automated equipment Troubleshoot and maintain existing mechatronic systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions Document designs, processes, and test results Travel between Boston and Hopkinton sites as needed Why TalentBurst?
