Job Description

ReadyWork is seeking Dimensional Inspector/ Planner to perform visual and dimensional inspection and planning activities related to the functions in which the repair station is rated. These functions include repair and overhaul of landing gear and hydraulic components for Boeing MD/DC, Boeing 7-series, Bombardier Q-400, and Lockheed applications. Primary Responsibilities Evaluation and disposition of in-service landing gear and hydraulic components for wear and corrosion through visual and dimensional inspection using measuring tools such as micrometers, gages, and indicators To ensure all articles are maintained in accordance with the customers continuous airworthiness program Working in conjunction with, and providing technical support to machinists, operators, technicians and various departments leads to solving technical issues To ensure all maintenance is documented in accordance with internal, customer, OEM and FAA requirements, including documentation of maintenance performed on the work order/ traveler, bill of materials, picture sheets, and logs Implementation of customer and OEM technical data into repair schemes Qualifications The ability to read, write and understand English Detail oriented Ability to program CNC operations using Fanuc programming language Ability to read and understand OHM/ CMM's, blueprints, shop travelers and sketches Ability to identify different plated surfaces such as chrome plate, nickel plate, and various thermal sprayed surfaces Must be able to perform measurements using inspection tools such as, but not limited too; micrometers, dial bore gages, telescope gages, height gages, and indicators General knowledge of set-up, loading and adjusting machines and equipment Practical experience with the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools and equipment generally used in the work for which the repair station is rated. Must be proficient in the use of precision measuring tools and equipment to perform dimensional inspection of products such as micrometers, bore gages, and test indicators Must be able to identify different plated surfaces such as chrome, nickel, cadmium and various thermal sprayed surfaces Ability to read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, CMM/OHM's, work order/ travelers and other written instruction Requires previous employment experience for the services sought, including practical experience with the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools and equipment generally used for maintenance activities performed by the repair station Work Environment Shop floor environment within an FAA-certified landing gear repair station Benefits 401(k) 4% Match Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Holiday Pay Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance ReadyWork Inc is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
