A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a collaborative and hardworking team of Nondestructive Testing specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will perform development and production activities involving Nondestructive Testing (NDT) methods for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of assuring part integrity, quality and life span. This position will primarily be involved in the Penetrant inspection of metallic flight hardware and test samples This role will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.
